Phew, EEs are Done

My sincerest apologies for disappearing for the last little while. Where was I you ask? I could say that I was frenetically preparing for exams, essays, and projects and that I was quite in over my head. But you would say, that’s no reason to not blog! Indeed, but this time, I actually have something to show that I had not gone shopping instead of blogging (oh the atrocity in that).
Behold, my Extended Essay as a May 2008 International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate (damnnn I really love saying that long name).

I’m sure you college/doctorate kids are saying, BAH! That’s nothing. But I’m quite proud of the BS it actually. It has really been the bane of my existence since April this year, seven months of work… okay I can probably consolidate that into a month and half due to all the procrastination. 7 months of work. 4000 words. 4 drafts, 3 boounded copies (I swear the IBers are having a party at Kinko’s right now). And I’m back to blogging, that’s the best part I should say.

You’ve just partly convinced me that my decision to take a bunch of AP classes instead of doing the IB diploma was an extremely good one.
But congratulations on finishing!
@ Megan - Glad to be of service. Yes, if you want to go for academics, AP is definitely the right direction to head. If you want a more cynical and international perspective, go for IB.
Hey, I’m glad to hear from you again =D This seems to be the time of the year when everyone disappears to attack extreme loads of schoolwork. That’s a pretty long work. So long I don’t even want to read it XD
One word: daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.
Good christ. I don’t know if I could do it.
This is the point where I laugh at your struggle and congratulate myself on not going into IB…
Just looking at it is torture D: I’m happy for you though, that it’s all finished. Yaaay! Time to par-taaaay.
Wow, that is one long essay! I could never do that lol. Well done for finally finishing it
Haha jesus. That makes me glad I didn’t take full IB. I don’t have the will to do all that… actually, I do, but I’d bitch the whole time and my friends would hate me haha.
Congratulations on the essay! It looks long!
Ulgh, I swear if I am in IB, I will go crazy on the extended essay! I don’t know if I want to do IB, it sounds cool, but I am a terrible procrastinator, and hate studying [which I should be doing now] with a burning passion.
:secret: :dead:
That’s fricking intimidating and I go to UC Berkeley. Granted, I had my share of papers I did in high school and I even now get longer assignments, but there’s a reason I’m a bio major instead of an English major, that’s for sure.
i dont envy you having to do such a big paper like that.a headache and writers cramp comes to mind.i bet you will be glad once your done with school and have a really good career.
Congrats on finishing all… that. lol
Congratulations on finishing your EE, it looks very lengthy!
wow that’s so much writing
very impressive
I can’t imagine anyone writing something that long :cute:
take care xx
Wow, goodness gracious. Just looking at that ‘essay’ (more like a non-fiction novel at that lenght!) made me feel a bit lightheaded. Amazing. I don’t know how you do it!
I believe you need a golden medal for all your extraneous… work.
I’m still gawking.
wow.. that sure is long xD
i’m happy that you’re finally done with it (x
I feel for you. Papers are such a drag. Two days ago, I just finished finalizing a 20-page paper…and boy, I was getting pissed because there was something wrong with arranging diagrams. My computer would keep on freezing and complaining that it didn’t have enough memory. Those are the times when I would like to take a break, go outside, pick up a branch, come back into my room and give my computer a good whack or two.
