I’ve always loved social networks. They give cube dwellers a sense of purpose when we’re bored out of our socks at work, in the corporate world. They give students a sense of joy when we’re stuck doing homework all night. In the time I spent on Facebook and Myspace and sites talking about Facebook and Myspace, I can probably write two more 4000 Word Extended Essays. And being someone who likes to dabble in HTML, spiffying up my profiles is highly essential as well. Remember when Facebook applications first came out? Why, we had to add every single one on our profile! On Myspace, while applications are slowly catching on, it’s the Myspace surveys that pretty much have monoply on how profiles are embellished. I think quizzes and surveys are the best way for someone to get the basic Q and A off of you on the internet. It’s even better when there finally comes a site that lets you create your own quizzes especially for a social network site. There’s one particular quiz that really amused me, I found out that I’m a normal human being, yay! So, where does the future of social networks and the spiffying of social networks take us? We can only wait and see as 2008 comes around!
