A few days ago I posted the school colours of some of the universities I applied to. I’ve got quite a few guessers (some very wild ones)!

Regina and Wednesday got UBC XD

Meg gussed Stanford and Princeton correctly.

Arielle got Columbia and UCLA right (tbh I had to double check the blues and oranges for the UCs as well). She just got accepted into NYU so I was shocked she didn’t get the White & Purple

Marie took a leap of faith using other people’s guesses and got Columbia, Princeton, Stanford, and a place in my sidebar and RSS!

The answers are posted below.

Yes yes, some very big names up there. But really, the one I’m counting on is UBC, and a big fat scholarship from them as well. $40 000 a year for those elite US private schools, seriously! It’d be nice if NYU sent me something though, seems like everyone else have been getting letters. *Prays*

March seems like the month of huge contests around the blogosphere. The main incentives are pretty much 1) free advertising 2) free layout 3) entrecard credits 4) cash. I won #1 and #3 and Mindblogger, thank you!

If anyone is interested, I’m also selling 6000 Entrecard Credits for $19.99 here. It’s the cheapest out of all the ones listed right now, so start bidding!

Lastly, don’t click here. Just don’t. Okay now do it. Please and thank you.

Tibetan Terrorists and American Hypocrisy

Posted on March 18th, 2008 in World for the Week | 24 Comments »

Free Quebec! Free Texas! Actually just give the whole lot back to the natives! What? That’s a little extreme you say? How can Canada remain Canada without a huge chunk of Quebec? What happened to all the history they shared together? If the public and the media continue to condemn the Chinese government and side with those bloody Free-Tibet protesters, I say our next step is to release Quebec from the evil grasp of the Canadian government and return USA soil to the Amerindians who got there first.

UPDATE: titled changed, yay.

For those who don’t think this is exactly headline news, here’s to quickly fill you in.

Free-Tibet Supporters: Free Tibet! Human rights abuse! Let Dalai Lama go back! No Olympics!
Tibetans: *burn stores* *harrass citizens* *threaten police*
Chinese government: LIES! ALL LIES! I’m giving you a deadline to stop burning things.
North American human rights groups: The Tibetans are suffering! Free Tibet! Shame on the Chinese government!
CNN: HEINOUS ACTS HAVE BEEN COMMITTED IN TIBET, PEOPLE DIED, SENSATIONAL STORIES, OMFGZ!!

The Future in Colours

The song this week is DHT’s Listen to Your Heart, dedicated to everyone one out there who’s facing love heartaches and is lost and confused.

Now, moving on to something more, cheerful (right…)! For high school seniors, March is known as Waiting Month. Twelve years of public education boils down to that single moment with a mouse click. Would it be tissues filled with tears of sorrow, or elegant glasses filled with champagne of joy? Only a handful of people in the world know my fate. So, dear readers, how good are you with colours? Whoever figures out the most school colours below gets an awesome link in my sidebar and a place in my RSS (because seriously, if you can figure it out, then YOU should be going to the universities I applied to). Here’s a hint: 2 Canadians on top, 8 US ones below. Their websites are your friend =D

They’re getting less and less creative with colours. Ready? Set? Go! And don’t mix up your blues.
